Recreation
Kitchener-Waterloo Access-Ability is an Information and Resource Centre
which offers a variety of social, recreational and educational programmes for adults
with physical challenges. Programme initiatives vary according to the time of year
and span a wide range of activities including, Bowling, Old Timers Electric Wheelchair
Hockey, Crafts, Art Group, Gliding, Photography Club, Scrap Booking, Herbology, Curling,
Massage, Womens Group, Cooking up a Storm, Afternoon at the Movies and monthly Country
Excursions in our wheelchair accessible bus.
In addition, we offer recreational programmes for young people.
These presently include New Generation Electric Wheelchair Hockey
and CyberCamps held weekly as well as during March and Summer Break.
