Summer Programme 2008
Summer Programme Participant, Helen Renaud, shares her memories of this year's Sumer Programme:
"Once again, our Summer Programme has come and gone. Our Summer Staff arranged different places for us to visit. I didn't partake in all of them because many of them I'd experienced in previous years.I mostly enjoyed going to the places where we could eat: One of the places we all enjoy is "Anna Mae's". We enjoy a nice country ride and then we get a delicious reward at the end with a nice meal and any dessert we want. No one leaves without a bag of their special kind of pie. I especially enjoyed the trip to Wellesley and Schmidtsville. On this trip I get to go through my home town and see the home that I once lived in. Another special trip was to Arthur to go gliding. Thanks so much Summer Staff. I'm looking forward to next year already!
Sincerely,
Helen Renaud
PS Now I am going on the treadmill to work off what I ate today!!"

Many thanks to the Summer Staff for their enthusiasm, and to our volunteer drivers for putting up with us! Until next time..." - Lorraine Reid
