Kitchener-Waterloo Access-Ability is a non-
profit information and resource centre. We are
committed to providing an environment that
supports self-determination for physically
challenged people, based upon the principles of
choice, equality, co-operation and mutual respect.
We believe in:
- the fundamental rights of all people regardless of physical ability.
- the active involvement and full participation of persons with physical disabilities in any efforts on their behalf.
- the equality of all people.
Our goals are:
- to provide a continuum of services and programmes which foster personal growth.
- to be responsible to the needs of individuals and the community as a whole.
The Centre works through the involvement of everyone as equal participants in the pursuit of a common objective:
"A Community of Equal Access
and Equal Opportunity"
This provides the opportunity for you to seek out information, and explore for yourself, local, provincial and national issues relevant to you. The Centre offers access to the Internet as well as local Bulletin Board Services.
For more information send an email to Chris Hodnett or call our office at (519) 885-6640.
