Look here for timely alerts and warnings on computer viruses and other technological threats. If you do not already have a virus checker on your computer, go to www.freeav.com for the Anti-Vir anti-virus programme, or to www.grisoft.com for the AVG anti-virus programme. But just pick one or the other. If you have two anti-virus programmes on your computer, they will fight with each other! Also, check out www.microsoft.com for any current anti-virus warnings. If you receive an e-mail about a virus, do not forward it on to others. That's not how it's done. It just amount to chain mail. Instead, keep your virus checker updated, and look for announcements here and on the web.
