Information Resource Centre


The Information Resource Centre serves as a community resource. It provides information, referral and consultation on a broad range of services and issues of interest to people with disabilities in the Waterloo Region.

The library houses newsletters, brochures, articles, periodicals and books on such topics as:

  • assistive devices
  • recreation
  • housing
  • self-help
  • education
  • employment
  • financial resources
  • legal issues

The Centre also offers in-house and dial up access to the Internet.
This provides the opportunity for you to seek out information, and explore for yourself, local, provincial and national issues relevant to you.
