  KPL COMPUTER ACCESS TO CATALOGUE

You can dial in from work or home 24 hrs a day using your computer and modem. The number is 749-0371.

TO CONNECT:

  1. Use the following settings:
    • 8 data bits, 1 stop bit
    • no parity (use "N", not a Zero)
    • terminal emulation, if available, should be set to VT100
    • library modems connect at speeds from 1200 to 14400 bps
  2. Dial 749-0371.
  3. After the "connect" message, press 'enter'
  4. "Login:" prompt appears. Type 'kpl' and press 'enter

Note: Screen displays may vary depending on your software and hardware.

TO END YOUR SESSION:

  • Select 'Disconnect' on Main Menu

(Inactive terminals automatically timeout)
